At the south-western side of the island an exciting destination awaits: the pristine sandy beach of Agios Stefanos with the ruins of two byzantine basilicas right on the water. A perfect spot for exploring the never-ending antiquities of the island while cooling down at the beach. Just 200mtrs off the coast lies the idyllic tiny island of Kastri with the St. Nicolas chapel on it. You can try to swim across or rent a paddle boat.
